Eccles cakes... in fact, yum to any fruity bake of any kind. Could easily eat half a dozen scones, pancakes, eccles cakes etc
Are drop scones the same as our Scotch pancakes Obelixx? I seem to remember my Dad mentioning it.
Not too much damage with car - 80 quid. Watched the robin seeing off an interloper for a while when I came home. It was all very amusing. He was even more puffed up than usual!
Joyce - I've visited Glen Etive many times - especially in summer - and I couldn't believe the difference last year, compared to those previous visits. Hoaching. Parked in passing places, on bends in the road etc etc. One even had his large 'van' parked on a double bend and had the nerve to have a stove of some kind in the road. I'm lucky nothing was coming the other way
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Well done Yvie! How did you do it? I don't suppose there is an easy way. I'm still full of Chinese lunch.
And welcome to Iain who wrote the last post on page 1.
