Morning all, It's absolutely chucking it down here and supposed to continue all over the weekend. Thankfully I got most of the gardening done during the last two days. I do want to sort out hollyhocks and wallflowers they both need potting on for a few weeks before I put them in the garden but my greenhouse is too small to work in so they will have to wait.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Think the pagoda will look really good Wonky make sure you post some after piccies.
I can see that some of my Narcissus pseudonarcissus are flowering in The Wilderness ... but I'm not going out there with the camera just yet ... there's a very dejected looking blackbird sheltering from the rain under a garden bench
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Afternoon all! Just nipping in quickly while trying to clear my head of the fog induced by small children bearing colds and invoicing time. The house work is going well (plasterer starts early tomorrow morning so last of the old live wiring needs to be ripped out before bed time) but will mean that I wont have any electricity for a couple of weeks so wont be able to nip in to see you lovelies less (like today) I'm at work.
Hopefully it wont snow as no electricity = no heating = only the gas oven to keep us warm via a copious supply of mulled wine that I've been squirrelling away since Christmas!
See you all on the other side when I have... at least the starts of ... a beautiful home again!
Oooh Clari - hope you've got your thermals ready!!! But that is the one sort of house work that we approve of - hope it all happens quickly and without too much chaos ((hugs))
I'm back from the farm shop - we have some schnitzel for tomorrow, belly of pork for Sunday, sausages for whenever so they can go in the freezer, some lovely smoked bacon and FR eggs, leeks, cauliflower, onions, potatoes, local chorizo, chicken joints, peppers, Conference pears and blood oranges. We're not going to starve are we?
