We have now moved both of mine and one of his. Just the last lot to go. They want a copy of a bank statement, his passport, marriage certificate and birth certificate. All certified copies sent today. The clock is ticking. Then we have all the pension pots under our control. Now we start plotting the bucket list. Australia here we come.
I totally missed what went off. However reading between the lines, I think Punkdoc and Verdun need their heads banging together. I bet if they met up they would probably get along. Winding each other up just escalates. Back to gardening....
P.S. i think both of you have something to add to the forum.
Well, I have been mightily sick and now feel a lot better so presumably a bug of some sort.
As I don't have any beds yet I have held off sowing sweet peas and beans on the assumption that they will romp when I do or else wait till next year if I don't get mini-digger man soon. I did see someone on TV once recommending soaking peas in paraffin before sowing. The smell puts off the rodents.
OH is off to Belgium for a week on Friday. He has a golf tournament at the weekend and will then hang on till next Friday so he can bring Possum home with him for 3 weeks of Easter hols. He will have a shopping list for Possum's freezer and lunches with assorted friends to keep him busy and no doubt some more golf.
He's promised to try out his new toy and rotavate a new bed for me to plant out my hostas before he leaves. That'll have to be tomorrow cos Wednesday and Thursday are set to be stormy here.

I am sure you are right fidget, but I have been the subject of some very vicious attacks at the w/e, along with Dove, conducted by one of Verdun's acolytes.
Also much of Verdun's attacks have been particularly vicious and personal, and although I have been guilty, it was only in trying to wind him up.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
PDoc - it isn't worth it. I saw the attacks and agree it was unpleasant but you need to rise above. Play with the good 'uns and leave the sillies alone.

I saw some attacks too, not a new thing, I was attacked once and so was a friend who left the forum, by the same people. Best not wind Verdun up Punkdoc. Stick to plants. Good advice from Obelixx.
My mother used to soak peas in paraffin before sowing.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Is it safe?
I have to be a good boy, Nora has told me off, I think she is probably right though.
Might try and keep a low profile for a while.

There was a lot more to it Fidget, and it was very unpleasant ... but Nora has dealt with it now and least said, soonest mended
P'doc - just don't say anything you wouldn't want Fairy to hear when she's got her wand at the ready
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Hope you sleep well now, Obelixx.

Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly Oblixx, hope you feel better soon.
Haven't read back much so haven't seen any unpleasantness. Who's fallen out with who? Such a shame.
Nanna day tomorrow, so night night everyone.
