Good morning. 7C this morning at 8am and 15C expected once the fog clears. We had a whole 5.5mm of rain yesterday evening and it's made for a misty start.
Kittens are out to play again and Rasta is at the hairdresser's having a serious trim. Hope she beahves. She has a skin infection along her neck from scratching an insect bite so is a bit sore but needs must. I hid her meds in kitten food and she wolfed the lot. Normally she's a PITA at taking meds.
I shall go and do some lopping whilst supervising kittens. OH is playing golf so will have a lovely pile of branches to stuff in his new chipper. We don't do Valentine's here but, I may just go and treat myself to a rusty shelf rack/plant display thingy I've spotted in a Troc.
Have agood day everyone whatever you're doing.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
"The price good men (and women) pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men (and women)."
Hooray, my photos are now all backed up on the computer! Now I need to go through them all and delete about a quarter, which are the rubbish ones I didn't want to keep, but which Google Photos insisted on uploading anyway.
OH and I usually forget Valentine's Day, then notice the date when we turn on the computers...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
We don't really celebrate Valentine's Day either. Just a kiss at Breckies, of course. I had a Hot Cross bun from a Sainsbury's in Norfolk. I bring some home when we go there and put them in the freezer.
Heavy rain in the night. It woke me up a couple of times.
I must finish mucking out the utility room, it was in a dreadful state. That's where the seeds are that I sorted yesterday. Meeting at a bank this afternoon.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hot cross bun sounds good BL - I have a few here. While a hot cross bum is another matter entirely...no tittering at the back, Hosta
Last year - I spent Valentine's Day on a snowy hill in glorious sunshine. Knocks the whole 'three ring circus' into a cocked hat
Turns out we had a frost, and I had to scrape the jalopy this morning. Roads were ok though LP. It was a couple of degrees when I left and fuzzy and grey, but the forecast was pretty accurate as the haze dispersed and we now have sun. Lovely. Still cool, but no wind which makes all the difference. Blackbirds are enjoying the apples
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hubby has just made me a sausage butty for breakfast. That'll do for me.
And NO, it's NOT a ( an ? that sounds weird ) euphemism.
Well theres a Valentine's breakfast and a half Hosta!

Sausage sandwich, that is true love.
Possibly the greatest meal on the planet, brown sauce I trust.
When you don't even know who's in the team
S.Yorkshire/Derbyshire border
Morning all and afternoon Pat.
Another lovely sunny day so will do some gentle pottering this morning.
Clari, I'm glad that you have had second thoughts for the time being.
St Valentine's Day is marked here with something simple (less is more)
Breakfast was poached egg on wholemeal toast - yum!
Now for one more coffee before I find my fleece and secateurs ................. and gloves if I'm going to prune the goosegogs
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all.

The whole thing gives me the dry boak
