Glenys, we've had cloud and half mm drizzle, but the temps have dropped into the 20s. Much more comfortable. Prediction for tomorrow morning is frost. Just when the vegetables are getting into their stride. Will cover some of them later today. Can tou tell me again what region of South Africa you're in please. I want to set up the clock so that I know "when" you are.

Hosta. Well done with the bird house. So lovely to see it peeping out.

    i forget the rest.

I'm  running out of things you've all said. Oh yes, the snow drops - how beautiful Chicky.

Morning all. Working every day this week, including camping overnight on Saturday night with beavers (= no sleep). I hope with the school holidays the traffic will at least be gentle with me.

If someone could keep an eye on the daffodils I'd be grateful: They're just poking through and I'm hoping won't get trampled too much.

I might see if I can book some holiday next week to recover and hope the warmer weather hangs around.

Just waking up here ... Took a while to get to sleep but then slept like a log ...

chicky - ever the optimist image

No point in me looking after your daffs Clari - I'd probably squish them too image

Enjoy Landward T'bird. It's a must see for Scots who like the outdoors. Keep and eye out for November 2016 - there are fairies on it.....image

Quick look round for me before work. At least I'm not missing any decent outdoor weather. Have a good day everyone - whatever the weather brings image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Hi all.

I don't know what is happening about this heatwave, not due to get above 10C all week here.

Potting on in the greenhouse today, another sign that Spring is coming.

Lovely that you have started seed sowing Chicky.

Sheep have gone home. That'll save Hubby a bit of mowing and me a bit of pruning if fruit. trees.
