Obelixx, I sent a link for photo albums on previous page, not the first link, mistake.

Did get outside and did some sweeping of leaves on the garden terrace that blew there when we had the high winds, also cleaned the French windows, sun was shining on my back, really warm.

Now going to make the chocolate mousse for tomorrow and prepare some veg.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hopefully I may get a frog or two visiting sometime. The one I saw last year probably wasn't old enough yet though. Can't remember when I first saw little froglets from the spawn I got  either image

Been sorting the area at the back of the shed, much to the annoyance of Fatty McFatface robin. I'm going to start charging board and lodging. Was quite pleasant, bit rainy but not too cold. Not quite t-shirt weather though  image

I haven't organised anything for my dinner. MIght have to raid the freezer to see if there's any leftover little bits of something. I'm very disorganised  when the girls are away. At least I remembered to have lunch today image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Raspberries and red currants pruned. Also managed a couple of crab apples and roses while I was out there and a bit more general clearing up. Time for a cuppa.

Nice pic Hosta - although it seems a bit early to me too. I've held back from pruning quite a few shrubs because winter can yet do an about turn and bit us all on the btm (tadpoles and all).

Congrats on the win to GWRS. We'll all be cheering them on in the next roundimage

    Thanks for the link Busy.

Our local ponds in Belgium were invaded by eats Euro frogs.  Incredibly noisy blighters.  Once they got going in spring we had to keep the windows closed at night and even then we could here them from the pond in Sauvenière - over a km as the crow flies!   They hadn't made it to our pond when we left but they were in teh one in teh paddock across the road......

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Home made burger and chips scoffed. My mince beef cravings satisfied.

My concerned mothering tendencies also satisfied as his lordship didn't notice how much the burgers were padded out with healthy vegetables. If anyone ever has a fussy eater child send them my way; I am mistress of the vegetable sneaking!

I used to have to swap bedrooms with my brother as the frogs would keep him awake with their goings on. They did me too; but I found it so beautiful to watch. Fortunately back then I was an insomniac and used to reading the nights away (making up for it now!)

We have a few frogs hanging around; no sign of any activities yet though. I always feel sorry for the fish!

My reward for 20 hours of Aunty-ing duties was venturing out into garden today - plenty of bulbs and Daffs appearing. No frog spawn here yet - must look back at my photos from last year to see how the timings compare - pretty sure it was end of Feb, just as the Marsh Marigolds start to sprout.

I was doing some tidying by a boundary hedgerow area and must have disturbed some nesting birds as the distress calls were piercing! Also found a dead rat in the woodland-y bit at the bottom of garden... not quite the woodland wildlife adventure I had planned for the 3 year old today!

My garden and I live in South Wales.

OK. I know I'm early, but I'm bored with colouring in. I've been out and watered the garden, picked yet more tomatoes, rung a neighbour for a gossip, cuddled the dog, so you'renext. Yes I know it's Sunday, but hey. It's 4.30 pm. image

No further news about the fire. Yesterday's news! Typical. Only sensational stuff every day.
