Just watched Monty.  Not as good as Gardeners World (obviously!) but at least it's a gardening programme...  image

An having to post from my phone, because a few minutes ago I clicked on an innocuous-looking story on Facebook and instantly found I'd been spammed - a message says I've accessed illegal content and my account is frozen.  The giveaway is that it gives a phone number to ring "to resolve security issues with your Windows access", or something similar.  I have a Chromebook which doesn't use Windows.  But I can't get rid of this stupid message or access email etc.  Tried turning off and on again, to no effect.  image

Hope the computer shop's open tomorrow...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

A long long time ago, I was a student in Manchester. At weekends I used to come home to Mansfield  via Stockport, then over the tops to Chesterfield,( in my 18 year old moggy minor.) It used to take an hour to do the first 15 miles on Friday nights. I think of Stockport as Manchester. It all blends in to one when you're in a traffic jam.

We had a lecturer arrive from America. He never gave a lecture and went home after 10 weeks.  The Manchester bugs got him. image

I agree. It was good to see the owners doing the work themselves.

    In London. Keen but lazy.

Morning all.  How are you feeling today? We've had a stinker of a day. The first load of washing was already dry when I hung the second load out. Needless to say, it's still out there. I'll probably go out about 6pm to bring it in.

thank goodness for air conditioning. There's been a very interesting doco about angkor.

Pat - your weather is useful for drying the washing BUT too exhausting for you to do anything in the garden.

    Fairy - enjoy your walk.

Hope all lurgy sufferers have slept and have a better dayimage

So-so night - weird dreams - painful throat. I shall take some paracetamol in a min. At least tummy has settled.

Hope everyone else is ok ...

Exactly Joyce. The washing is all in and folded. Too bad about gardening. I did manage to pick some tomatoes while changing hoses.image.
