Some of the sugar free cough sweets have sorbitol in and that can give a laxative effect. I'm staying in away from the sneezy people, however hubby has been to stockport today. I hope he doesn't bring any manchester bugs back with him.
Dove - glad you're pretty sure about your diagnosis - hope you didn't mind me suggesting an alternative. Hope you (& all the others feel a lot better soon).
Fire lit, G&T poured, prawn salad ready to serve - nearly time to watch Monty. Really enjoyed the previous Big Dreams series - so high hopes for this one! Wonder if he'll end up nissed at someone's "See the Garden" party again this series?

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Topbird , recording Montys programme , just watched Michael Portillos Great Railway Journeys , really enjoyed his programmes With a glass of Processco as well , dinner soon
Fidget! Stockport is Cheshire, not Manchester which is Lancashire and sod arbitrary boundary changes. Hope he's come home bug free either way.
Missed Michael P who is very entertaining on rains but have recorded MD so I can FF all the dross bits.
More immune system boosting grub for dinner - spaghetti vongole with loads of garlic and chilli. Yum! I do not want the nasty bug. Sounds horrendous. Hope all sufferers are improving and that you flight hasn't messed with your sinuses Busy..

Sorry to hear the bug is hanging around for a wee while yet.
Really enjoyed Monty's programme and thought the young couple worked exceedingly hard considering what they have on their plate.
Obelixx Stockport is also known as being in the Greater Manchester area despite the Cheshire county label. Fidget if he comes back with any bugs don't let him in.
I'm not prone to them fortunately, although I had one out of the blue earlier this year. Made going up one of the Crianlarich hills interesting....
Hope you're all a bit better and healthier tomorrow.
Cute hephalump
I haven't seen the gardening prog but it's recorded so I'll catch it at some point. I quite like it.
Horrible, manky sort of day here, and felt miserably cold despite it being much warmer, in theory, than the minus five frosty days. It's to be better tomorrow in the east so I think I'll head that way for a walk.
I'm off to watch that prog about Orkney's archaeology. Enjoy the rest of your evening everyone
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Really enjoyed Monty's programme - 2 lovely gardens at the end & have to agree with Lesley's comments about the young couple - quite uplifting. Oh so very very different from some of the 'instant makeover - minimal owner input' programmes.
GWRS - I've enjoyed some of the Michael Portillo programmes too - especially when he's going to my favourite parts of the country.
Enjoy Orkney Fairy. I think you, Doc & I probably agree with the final conclusion
