Brrr! Keep warm and safe Joyce. OH has set off on his bike wrapped up warm and with thick gloves - he hardly goes on any road at all - just a cycle track and a quiet estate - and only takes little more than five mins.

Morning Pdoc - hospitals can be crazy places and patients have no control over anything that goes on - that makes us anxious - few medics understand this.
Hope you have a good visit ((hugs))

Minstrel is older than the rescue people think and is in heat. Lots of singing and chirrupping and bum waving all night and then Cosmos decided he needed a full face cuddle from 4am. I shall be having a zizz later on. Plumber here now so I have to be awake. Nice man. Apologised for not shaling hands but wants to keep his bugs to himself.
Kittens shut upstairs so they can't escape thru the front door and dogs shut in living room cos Bonzo is a bouncy barky doggy with strangers. OH has disappeared to get his hair cut and do some admin at the town hall. It's going to be quite a morning.
Chicky - beautiful wall and pots and plants.
DD Grump away. Things will seem less overwhelming if you share. Keep up the running too - good endorphins to help you along. Hugs to you and Charlie. Is he still following the Vendée Globe at school?
PDoc and Joyce - hope all has gone well.
Just getting light here and 4C. Looks like grey but not heavy or wet. Supposed to get sunny spells later.
Please be careful if you're out there in the frost and black ice.

I'm assuming it's fairly cold outside judging by how cold the house feels and what little bit of the frosty garden I can see at the moment. Much prefer it to the usual wind accompanied, wet cold though.
Have a good day chicky
Hope all is well doc. I don't mind hospitals visits - perhaps because they're mercifully few and everyone has always been great when I get there. Apart from the rude woman in the hearing aid clinic who treated my dad as if he was stupid, just because he was old and deaf presumably- who knows.
Joyce will already be there so hope all is fine for her and hubby too. What an ungodly hour to be getting blood sucked out!
Off for a quick look round before I go. Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Hi all.
Freezing here as well, car temperature gauge says minus 5.
Off to hospital for OP appointment, funny how the place I worked in for over 20 years now terrifies me.
Be careful everyone.

We've always gone early for blood tests as you have to go "ajeune" having had no food or drink.
Do agree that wet and windy isn't fun - unless your garden needs the rain and you're tucked up indoors.
You're right Obelixx. It's good to get rain when you need it. We managed to get 4.5 mm today.
