Morning all. Very frosty outside and thus not exactly warm in the house. HOPEFULLY we'll get the go ahead on the electrics this week which means I will be able to call the plasterer to get him to come over to confirm things ready for that to happen in two months (approximately).

I've 90 students in today. I hope they are germ free because I'm getting bored of creating enough mucus to fill a small ship.

Are the snakes with you particularly aggressive Pat? I'm not sure how dangerous they are for just walking past. I don't like the idea of being bare footed near one!

Good morning Clari image G'day Pat image

I don't mind our snakes, but I think I'd try to keep a healthy distance from yours Pat image

Freezing hard here .... I'm snuggled back in bed with my coffee.

Not so much aggressive, Clari, but one of the most venomous snakes in the world. Don't worry, I wasnt nearby, but close enough to help,Hubby look.

Monring all.afties Pat - hope you've relaxed a bit now. Long pair of boots on when you go outside perhaps!  image

I always think my house feels warmer when it's frosty Clari - except when it's a decent minus 6 or  or summat. The wind and rain penetrate the old bones more! image

Keep cracking that whip Clari - if you have electrics you can have fires. Alternatively, you could keep burning your OH's clothes to keep warm - that might focus him....image

Frosty here too Dove, but it came in laterinthe night  - what's that about? - so I'll have to scrape the car.

Think it's to be a bit sunnier though which is lovely. Pity I have to work.

Thighs are still a bit sore after Saturday's hill. It's a while since I've felt that. It was a little cracker image

I'll have a quick look round befoer the salt mine. Have a good day all

    Morning all.

Day 1 of new regime. Alarm going off at 7.30 to see if I can sort a sleep pattern out for myself. Not sure Hubby agrees it's a good idea, but I've made tea so he might get one in bed to soften the blow.

Apple Tree Yard wasn't my cup of tea.Won't bother with any more.

Lovely clear day with a hard frost but looks promising for the final push on the woodchip.

    IT WILL BE GONE TODAY.

Lovely red sunset last night and a gorgeous pink sunrise this morning. No frost by the time we surfaced but only just.   Will have to go and check for signs of new bulbs shooting.    Have a man coming to talk fencing today and possibly bulldozing but other than that just cleaning and planning.

Just as I was thinking Cosmos was growing up and no longer coming for 5am snuggles round my head, Minstrel decided she needed one.   He has finally worked out that he can jump further with his hind legs than he can pull himself up with his front legs so now jumps from the table to my shoulders and then down to the bird watching window sill.  He does still jump up and then climb my jeans except yesterday he did it just before my shower and with no jeans.  Ouch!

Lots of fog in the UK today.  Be careful and yes Pat - boots.

Hope the new regime works Hosta - it may take a while - it took three years of retirement before I stopped leaping out of bed wide awake at 5:30am !

obbelix - I remember kittens climbing up my bare legs image Ouch!!!

Hope it works Hosta.  Good idea to establish a routine.

OH used to get up at 6am to go to work and found it quite easy to stay asleep or in bed till 8am once he retired,   Having spent his first month sleeping late till 8 or 9 or reading in bed he now gets up early, lets the dogs out and brings me coffee and juice but very occasionally, usually after a busy day, he sleeps thru till 9 or even 10 and I do morning coffees.

Best get dressed for fence man.
