Hosta Did you see that one on the house on the Scandinavian Island. ... I have a serious case of envy ... I'm going to try not to watch that programme again, it brings out a side of me I don't approve of
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I might like that right enough, but I often feel like Dove - sometimes not a good idea!
To be honest, a little cabin somewhere would do me fine
I saw the trailers for Apple Tree Yard. If I don't fall asleep, or have to go and get daughter from her all weekend thing at Uni ( ) I may take a gander

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Mr C has been raving about Italy's invisible cities Lily - maybe I should give it a go.
Another beautiful day here - very frosty and clear skies. Went for a walk on the South Downs - exhilarating. If winter was full of days like this I wouldn't mind it so much
Good on you for marching LG - its given lots of us a glimmer of hope.
Thanks SGL I must remember to watch it - life has been hectic here for a while, and now I'm just surfacing after three weeks of the lurgy. Trying to get back to normal this coming week, although I don't think I dare go to tennis on Wednesday - still coughing a bit.

Anyone been watching....... Italy's invisible cities BBC 1 on Wednesdays. Very interesting.
Dove the island home was divine. As was the owner. I think I might have to fight Caroline Quentin, ( and his wife ) though.
I loved the house in the Nevada desert.
Oh Dear. Weasel words !!

Chicky, it's the last one this Wednesday but I'm sure you can still get it on catch up.

Yes it is Dove, last week it was Venice. Parts of it was in 3D. Would have looked amazing with a 3D tv.......we don't have one tho lol.
Thanks SGL
