BL, everyone who's had this lurgy seems to be suffering from painful ribs now - even my foody friend who lives in Provence is suffering. Hope we're all better soon ((hugs)).
DD ((hugs)) enjoy the weekend.
Sweet dreams all.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hi all, just an update.Daughter had another scan on Tuesday and had a gender reveal cake made. Daughter and her OH cut it tonight in front of friends and family. She's having a little girl.
She's due round 30th of May. We are both going shopping tomorrow, so it's shop till we drop.
Niece had a little boy Nathaniel 9th Dec, Nephew had a little boy Grayson 15th Dec.
I never sleep well after a walk which always surprises me. Having tea and watching the Big Dreams prog which I recorded. It's on TV just now but I had to go and make the tea....
Very impressed with the amount of graft all these people have put in. I know how it feels! Always a lot more satisfying when you've created it all yourself though
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all. Slept heaps better, despite rib. Coughing much less.
Hello Paula, great cake. My son 1 and his wife are expecting a baby girl (3rd girl) in May and Son 2 and wife are expecting their 3rd in may too. But they want a surprise, they have 2 boys. They will be my grandchildren 10 and 11. Is this your 1st or have you others?
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning all! Managed most of my chores yesterday including making two huge lasanges so the freezer is once again topped up with emergency / lazy day meals. My slab laying looks a little wonky though (emergency new path to the caravan with the impending worsening weather, OH has been too busy to do it so I thought I better take action. After all if he trips and breaks a limb the house will stay cold ALL winter).
House update: most of the messy cutting into bricks is now done. Once the council respond to our messages (agh) we can arrange the first fit viewing from their "inspector" and then start getting wires laid.
Today I have to venture out to the shops for some essentials. Not meadowhell fortunately; but not the garden centre either.
Cold has settled to a chesty cough; lots of hot drinks and moving around til it gets unsettled and naffs off. When I get home there is a blanket and collection of Sherlock to catch up on as a reward while OH is out for the day.
Then hopping in a car to take an extremely anxious Chicklet back to Nottingham. Her exams start tomorrow, and she is feeling . Iwill stay overnight and then head straight to work tomorrow morning - its an hour closer than home. Have lots of podcasts to keep me entertained on the journey.

Keep comfortably warm and hydrated everyone.
Lazy morning planned

See you Tuesday
Hope all goes well for chicklet - don't envy her
I'm sure having mum there for moral support will help though.
Bon Voyage
That's a helluva cake Paula. Not sure how I missed that!
