Agree with that Dove. Mine are definitely faulty, flat, broad, too big for my height and the soles burn when I stand still for too long. Yet there are so many beautiful shoes for sale that my feet won't fit into, so some people must have nice feet.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
BL, I think most of those beautiful shoes just live on shelves in people's cupboards - I never see anyone but Zoe Ball wearing them - I am envious of her feet (and her legs and body really )
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
It's now comfort before beauty in the shoe department for me and about a quarter of the pairs of shoes I used to have........I used to have a "thing" about buying shoes....loved them.

Clari you deserve a medal me thinks ?hope other half shows his appriectiation come santa time ?. Ah the old toe bashing Dove, did mine in the summer, hit it off the back door step and went same way as yours, even now that it's healed, when touched it still feels like theres a bruise but nothing visible...I love my hi heels but only occasionally wear them now due to the fact we lI've more or less in the woods...hunters Wellies are the normal here ?. Hugs ? to flowers and hope your not in too much pain over the next few months and take it easy. That's some amount of pies Busy. I have my roast tatties to do today and pop in freezer then maybe a few macaroni cheese as well but first i must go clean out the chickens ?. Clarice... I'll let you know when I access his amazon account and order it!
Have you found it easy enough to secure your hens with this bird flu restriction? I've seen some imaginative fixes with car ports for free range farmers. It's made me re think my plans for where my run was going to go (hopefully this summer).
Mince pies cooking, carrot cake cooking, second load of washing on, what appears to be every pigeon in Yorkshire arriving to ensure my feeders are empty by night fall.
Lazy morning here supervising Rasta and kittens whilst reading Garden magazine and waiting for the mist to lift. Kittens were manic this morning - 3 hours non stop play and hardly any sneezing.
Just had lunch and we're about to take the doggies out for their constitutional and then I'll carry on with that bed and the bulbs.
I used to wear high heels but they got lower over the years and 2" was my max. Then I had to have new feet in 2013 - shortening metatarsals and re-attaching toes plus bunions whie they were on - and the best I can do is one inch. I've had to order dance shoes from Hong Kong to get pretty styles with one inch heels. They're so comfy I'm thinking of ordering more and having normal soles put on for general use.
No Xmas cooking here yet but I will make some mince pies for OH. Mango chutney to deal with first.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone and good health to all, especially those recovering or suffering.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

The kittens must be recovering well Obelixx and giving you hours of entertainment. Just wait until they start exploring outside. My friend has fallen for Cosmos after seeing your pics.

My feet look lovely ... in wellies.
mince pie pastry is resting. I have a feeling I have fluffed up the quantities so we'll have to see how they turn out.
Unfortunately I've realised I forgot to get any lard to do my pork pies! Never mind another time... (along with the almonds for the bakewell tart).
His lordship has made it to Oxford and already eaten the sausage rolls.
Now to try and work out what to do with this vast quantity of carrots we have....
Clari carrot and coriander soup and some for BLs horses
They love carrots!
I love carrot cake
