It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Happy New Year, Pat!  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Joyce I remember years ago when we did the coal/salt thing to neighbours and opened all the windows to let the old year out and the new year in....?...(still do that here). Remember the boats as we lived 5 minutes from the seaside...happy memories! ??

    Thanks everyone image.

I'll miss your midnight I suppose, but will be thinking of you all and I hope you all have a wonderful start to 2017. Thanks for all your lovely messages over the past year. It's been a big help to me when I've been feeling low.

Hello all. Just popping in to say hi. Been busy cleaning the flat before heading out for the bells tonite. Have assembled the essentials for first footing, a new penny, shortbread, coal and a bottle of Talisker Skye(other malts are available but not as good). I no longer qualify as a dark haired male however.

As the bells chime midnight please raise your chosen glass and remeber your fellow fokers as well as family and friends past and present. May you all be well and I thank you all for the past year.
