Bushman- I'll join you in a few drams of Talisker. Daughter bought me a 14 year old Oban malt so will try that at the bells. (I come from Oban) SlainteAll the best for 2017.
I work with someone who was addicted to it. It's a running joke that she'll be buried in a blue and orange coffin. When she had stopped drinking it she was talking one day and I said to her - do you know that you talk exactly like an alcoholic? Every phrase she used was the same as any junkie coming off a fix. She still says 'that's x amount of months I've been off it' It's dreadful stuff!
I shall be partaking of tea flavoured drinks and going to bed at the normal time, as is my usual habit. Walking tomorrow - so it will be the first walk of the new year Lesley
Do you think the Pandas will be full of eucalyptus and having a bit of jigging by now? Or is it a bit early yet. Hope they've had a good day

It hasn't crept above freezing here today. Bit of a shock to the system on walkies! Spent the rest of teh afternoon measuring and drawing my kitchen and dreaming of the new one.......... Too cold to garden.
Now to cook a festive dinner for me and him.
Thanks to everyone for your company and communal humour and kindness and support this last year. You are lovely people. Long may it continue for us all. Huge hugs for those who need them.
