The only time I remembered to copy what I'd written and the post worked!

Murphy's law Busy.   Good luck with the last of the mince pies.   Marathon bake.

Is that ribbon white?   We have some round our paddock, courtesy of the farmer neighbour who's kept cows and calves in there but I find it just a bit too visible.   It's round our future potager too where, it seems, the previous owners had a donkey.  Has to go.   Still waiting for dippy gendarme neighbour to come and talk about his horses and our paddock.

Needs to be visible for horses. It is white.

Hello everyone. What a lot to read through. Good though!  I'm in the middle of doing three large loads of washing, delayed for one reason or another and now I'll be at it for ages. Sunny but cool outside.

Was it you, Joyce who has a friend in Darwin?  They've been having temps like 37 lately. We never experienced that in the 13 years I lived there.  Perth also has similar temps and there used to be someone on here who had a friend there as well, but I can't remember who it was. our temps are beginning to rise again, but only to about 27 today predicted. Bearable. Altogether over the last week we had Bout 30 mm rain, which makes life much easier with the Garden.

Yes, Pat. My friend in Darwin loves the heat. . . . I don't, which is why I haven't visited her. She goes to Melbourne for the Australian Open tennis and often feels too cold there.

Now that you're into the growing season, some overnight rain would make life  a bit easier for you in the garden.

Well I must say that is very keen, Joyce, to travel from the top of Australia all the way to Melbourne.

Pat,   she and I both love tennis.  Her son lives in Melbourne so The Open is her annual visit to him.

That makes more sense, doesn't it.

Weve had a good day today. Actually got all the backlog of washing out and in. Thinking about having dinner soon and hopefully not getting a visit from you know who. She usually turns up anywhere from 7-8 pm. We never know when she is coming.image

i managed to prick out some Cos lettuce seedlings and pot them up into pots, so fingers crossed that they survive. Lots of the veggies from winter are going to seed (kale, silver beet, broccolini, onions, etc) , but at least the garden is filling with tomatoes and zucchini plants.

  • Good morning Pauline image  Ouch! That sounds horrid. I'll take care, I promise. It's no worse today so I think it's only bad bruising ... Looks a bit dramatic tho.
