Hmmm - did the windows and raked leaves and dug a bit of the new border. My back is now telling me that might not have been the best idea (sorry Dove - should have listened) - but once I get going it's hard to reign it in...
Still, it doesn't feel tooooo bad at the moment - so gin and ibuprofen might yet sort it out
Beautiful view and photo Liri. We're planning a little tour in Scotland in January in the camper. Not sure how far north we'll get but we love the highlands. have spent many wonderful holidays on the west coast & usually had half decent weather for much of the time. There is a photo of me sat on a white beach with turquoise water lapping the shore. Most people think it's somewhere in the caribbean!
Sounds like dinner's ready - SYL.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Morning Dove and. Pat, beautiful start to the day here on the south coast. We have the sun shining on the woodland turning the trees a brilliant red.... stunning!
There's a huge oak tree across the rise and every morning it's leaves have glowed a wonderful golden orange in the morning sun - suddenly, this morning, there are no leaves!
Morning Topbird, Flowers and Pat and everyone as you come along ...
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all - late on parade, but thats the joy of a Sunday
Frosty white out there for us too - perfect day for a walk a bit later - at least thats the plan
Then Christmas decorations up this evening - I know it sounds early, but we are away next weekend, and I don't want to leave it til the 17th. Things only get done in this house at weekends, so todays the day. Won't get the tree til the 17th as it is Chicklet's turn to put the star on the top, so we'll wait til she gets home for the holidays.
OH has a b'day on the 21st so I usually do the tree just before that. Nice to see the twinkly lights but I get bored with the other decs after about 10 days. Don't like not being able to dust properly without moving everything.
Today I shall be ordering all the bulky stuff (cat food, tonic water, washing liquid, loo rolls etc) for delivery this week. Then another big delivery for about 2 weeks time. Makes the real life SM shops much easier to manage. There is a 3 week period starting around the 15th Dec when I really try to keep SM visits to the bare minimum as there is always a queue just to get in the car park let alone the shop itself.
