Oh No Fairy . What a nightmare. So glad she is ok now (if a bit sore). Hope today is a better day.
We had a good day yesterday, if a little strange, with 4 hours being spent in a car fetching Dad amd returning him in the evening. But he was on good form, and good fun was had by all (Ludo providled just the right level of hysteria).
All collecting at sisters today for the annual Boxing Day gathering of the clan . Best go get some gladrags on
It's one of the more unusual Christmas days I've had Joyce!
I'll have to nuke the chicken just to make sure it's thoroughly cooked - I couldn't get it cool enough to go in the fridge last night, despite staying up quite late to give it time. House was too warm - typical! Didn't want to put it outside either, in case I forgot about it...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
There's the former Red Army Choir to provide backing vocals too
Fairy, glad Fairylet is ok I agree, the NHS is wonderful We sat down to our meal yesterday recalling two Christmas meals that have been interrupted in the past by summons to attend A&E 'cos Pa was on his way up the A12 in an ambulance
I keep sneezing this morning ... hope Her Madge hasn't given me her cold ... I think she should've stayed in London and not brought her germs to Norfolk
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Not sure if you're aware ... Radio 2 has changed from it's pre-recorded Boxing Day programme, and is broadcasting a tribute to George Michael with lots of his music, plus other music he loved. It's a really good programme.
I said I wasn't a fan, and that's true .... but one of my all time favourite records is his Cowboys and Angels.

Thanks for the kind wishes. She'll survive...she's currently dozing, with her mouth open and drooling, on the settee beside me. I could be really unkind and take a photo.....
Think tonight's dinner might be slightly better than last night's - a brioche bun with a few oven chips, and some profiteroles. Not on the same plate though. The girls shared younger fairy's chicken chow mein that she wanted for Christmas dinner. How traditional!
Can't praise our emergency NHS services highly enough. I've only ever had a wonderful experiences with them, although I'm very fortunate that I've not had to use them very often.
Glad you had a good time with your dad chicky, even if it was shorter than expected. Have a lovely time today. I think Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me is one of Elton and Bernie's finest songs, and doesn't get played much compared to other hits. George did it proud
Some band indeed doc. And don't forget Keith Emerson on keyboards....don't want it to be too understated
Old George had a fine pair of legs too

Lots of twigs off the trees lying around but no snow here Fairy.
Dental hospital will get fairylet sorted out, poor girl
So:
Vocals - Bowie, Prince, Michael and Lake.
Guitars - Prince, Parfitt and at a pinch Lake.
Got the makings of a great band here.
Morning all. Woken up feeling full of cold, but I don't think I would have been doing much anyway.
Hope the fairylet is ok. The NHS is something to be proud of.

Season's Greetings all - hope everyone can keep well as the festive family gatherings continue.
Trying to keep a bit festive here but have a Christmas-interuptus this afternoon as have to go to work!
Just going to prepare a smoked salmon brunch to keep me going... think will play some George Michael to remember him.
