Chicky, sorry, meant to say I'm pleased you found somewhere nice for your Dad. ( All this work is making me giddy )
Another ( half ) day at the coal face today. Hopefully a nice easy run with nice easy pleased customers and a glimpse of the sea would be good. Widemouth Bay looked stunning yesterday.
I'm not sure what today at work brings. I set my classroom up for activities on Wednesday ready for this week (get me being organised!) but left the lids on while the room was unsupervised. It'll be interesting to see
a) if staff left the door open
b) if parents ripped off said lids and proceeded to let all the mayhem break loose (normally what happens if you have ten really nice polite families use the activities and just as you start to relax a family come in that try to pull off all the display pieces that say don't touch, rearrange all the dressing up across the room (I have had to hunt the museum for items of clothing that they wandered off with before now), draw a solid line across every sheet of paper (so no other children will then use them), and try to break into the cupboard (disappointing for them there is never anything exciting in the cupboards), and charge their mobile phones (who brings a mobile phone charger with them to a museum??)
Many happy returns for Dove's OH and Pat's son. Pat, if your visitor arrives you could make the most of the opportunity and ask her to get your Christmas tree from the shed. You know you'll weaken in the end
Fairy I love your pic and am pleased you had a fair weather day. It looks as though we're in for a wet and windy time soon. Bring back the frost!
Hope Wonky is feeling a little better this week.
Off to SM today with a list as long as my arm and will be going again for the fresh stuff on Thursday or Friday. Ah well, it's only once a year. Have a good day everyone
Happy birthday to Dove's lovely OH. I know he's lovely 'cos I've met him! I hope you both have a good day and the weather is kind.
Plan for the next couple of days is housework, putting up decorations, window cleaning, making up beds for the family and wrapping presents - ouf! (whew in English)
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning all - no work for me til Wednesday we're off to London for a couple of days for a festive treat. Meal out tonight and some wandering round seeing the lights ✨✨✨

Morning all.
Happy Birthday to OH Dove. Send him our love. xx

Will do Hosta - thanks. He's still asleep.
Have a good day
Hope Wonkys feeling better. Didn't speak to her yesterday as I thought it better to let her rest and be looked after.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I'm sure "lovely Hubby " looked after her for you Dove.
My Hubby has just done me bacon and eggs and toast for Breaky. Sets a chap up a treat before Coal Face duties.
Happy birthday Mr. Dove!

Still paint that smile on your face!
Clari, stick up a sign " £5 donation to charge your phone" . If it's important, they'll pay, if not, they're just taking the p*ss.
Clari - aren't some people a***holes
Morning all/afties Pat. Those power cuts are a pain. We're so used to having power nowadays, we forget how disruptive it is when it vanishes.
Happy birthday to all who have them. Hope there's no 'two presents in one' scenarios
Better shift and get to work. Would be nice if we didn't have to go, eh Hosta? Last week before we shut for a bit though.
Have a good day all, whatever you're doing
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all
Pat - ice cream is tempting
it would be pleasant if 'you know who' didn't pay a call when you're not in the mood.
Dove - enjoy the day out for OH's birthday
Good morning all, hi Pat
