I don't know if there is one here but the vet wasn't surprised and I have let the group's president know I'm not impressed.
Sounds to me like both OH and Reggie need a talking to. I am back to the days of playing with pattern tissue paper behind a closed door away from little helpers.

The perils of my new way of posting - I'd almost finished and then I leant on something and it disappeared...
I'll try again....only managed a skim through a few pages, but glad you had a good holiday Hosta. Fantastic to hear your good news DD - here's to your new future, and I wish you every success with it. You deserve some good times now. Clari - tell your OH to get his finger out and get some heat in that r*ddy house! Good luck with the job hunting - you deserve better too. Commiserations fidget and hubby. That must have been a horrible experience. Hope he is on the mend. Your paperwork/red tape issues won't be helping. Why does everything have to be so difficult nowadays?
I've forgotten everything else now 'cos it's taken me so long to do this....
Not been away BL - I posted some pix on the camera thread as I saw you'd been asking after me. Hand/wrist has been making things a bit tricky for scrolling/posting etc.
No 'tree topping' Joyce - I can do without any more damage....
Garden has had a lot of frost through November- ground was solid for well over a week recently, and took a while to thaw out. I thought I might have lost a couple of things, but all seems ok....I hope. Can't remember it ever being so dry at this time of year though. Much better than our usual diet of cold rain/sleet and wild stuff. There are even trees which still have some foliage attached - not often there's much foliage still around in early November, never mind December.
I noticed it particularly along Loch Lomond on Sunday as the light came in, and there was a rosy glow to highlight it. Happy days
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
That's gorgeous, Fairy! The train took me through Ardlui and along the banks of Loch Lomond last Friday and I was mesmerised. The weather was fab while I was in Scotland, cold and clear most of the time - can't get used to the grey damp foggy cold since I got home...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
I waved my wand for you Liri - so that you wouldn't have the usual manky stuff on the island
Glad you had a good spell when you were there. Makes all the difference
Unfortunately I missed getting out on the hills when we had a good load of snow recently. Very frustrating when there were clear blue skies to go with it. The milder spell last week has taken it all away again, but there'll be plenty to come! I had a nice outing on Sunday though, and a few frosty pix to go with it

Liri, we too prefer cold, clear weather to murky and drismal. Lifts the spirits even with lochs and hills to admire.
Joyce - we have a wire cat basket with a slide out tray bottom. We have to remove the tray, put in a thin layer of fabric then the kittens, close it up and perch it on a washing up bowl in which I have placed a pyrex bowl filled with boiling water and a capsule of the active ingredients. Cover the lot with towels or blankets and leave to steam for 10 mins.
Sounds like a faff but it went very smoothly. Now to feed them their antibiotics with their bedtime supper. Fingers crossed.

Poor things. Is there a way you can report the rescue charity to the likes of the rspca? It makes me wonder what else they're doing.
The hound is currently sulking as his lordship is late home. Which at least means my craft box can come our without all the felt being pinched.

Obelixx How are you going to do steam inhalations on the kittens?

Fairy
that is simply beautiful. I remember driving past Loch Lomand when we went up to Skye
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Lovely photo Fairy. We've missed you. Hope your hand/wrist heals quickly now.
