  • Edd, to apologise as you're doing something indicates a lack of sincerity.

A juvenile delight in shouting rude words is just that ... juvenile - a phase that most children pass through quite quickly ... whilst understandable in a child why do you need to resort to brattish attention-seeking behaviour?

I don't see why you feel that because this is a 'free forum' you have licence to misbehave and upset people.  The forum is owned by Immediate Media and has a Code of Conduct ... if you don't wish to abide by it then don't join in.

In the past you've shared your knowledge about vermiculture and composting and other things ... it's a shame that you appear to have a self-destruct button and feel the need to subvert the good that you have done.

And by the way, it's Hosta who claims commission from cat threads ... do you really take in what you read on here?

  • And Good Morning to the rest of you image

A crisp and crunchy morning out there and the roads look treacherous - OH has taken his bike to work but set off walking.  I am up and dressed with mascara applied and second coffee on the go ... the washing machine man cometh at some time between 8.19 and 11.19 this morning ... according to his text .................................

Good morning all.   Not yet sunny - too early - but promises well.  Light, almost imperceptible frost.

Nates airport this morning to deposit Possum then sewing machine shop at Les Herbiers after lunch cos by the time we make the detour they'll be on their 2 hour lunch.  Suits me.  New town to explore.  I do hope the problem isn't terminal........

By the time we get back the dogs will be gasping for walkies and the day will be gone but I have now measured the east side of the house where I want to make a perfumed/winter garden.  It gets full sun till midday so will be perfect for morning coffees.

I hope everyone's day goes to plan.  Stay safe on icy roads.

  • I've just been out and scattered some porridge oats and chopped fruit for the blackbirds, and mealworms and smaller grains for the robins and dunnocks - the hanging feeders are all topped up and the birdbath has been de-frosted again.  Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Morning all. A bunged up and coughing sort of night. Good thing OH is a heavy sleeper!

Shan't be going to the sales in my favorite clothes shop. It's a grey day, but just above freezing.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • BL - hope your head clears soon - OH had that sort of night too - he went into the spare room and said he only had a couple of hours' sleep image
