Sad about Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds - awful when a mother has to bury her child - no wonder her heart was broken. I know that some friends here have had to endure such heartbreak and this may touch raw nerves .... ((hugs)) to them.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
So very sad to hear on the radio about Debbie Reynolds, what must their family be going through is unimaginable. Apparently it's stated that she 'wanted to be with Carrie'
Happy holidays Hosta, must say that I like warmth but that would be a tad too hot for me too. Enjoy......but don't forget the sun screen.?????? x
Good morning so sad for Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds I think Dove may remember we lost my cousin and auntie within 2 days of each other this time last year. It was so hard.
Hosta glad you got some sleep, when do you go?
morning Pat glad to hear you have had rain you have still lot a lot of summer to come!
joyce you are fortunate to get deliveries at that time, I know my sister would love hers early
lindo hello, glad your house survived Barbara and the Hogmanay crowd "in" glad you had fun at Christmas
Wonky from what I saw on the news about the weather I am glad sensibly stayed home, however, you had unexpected "you" time
our London family away home yesterday, house seems very quiet but plenty tidying up to keep me busy!
Dove has your new machine got sorted yet? We need a new freezer, ours keeps dropping temp don't trust it while we away.
P doc when do you go? we had a lovely holiday where you are going. However I am seriously allergic to cinnamon so spent most of the time with a hankie to my nose No one ever said it was also called Spice Island! Beautiful place
Busy hope you feeling better I have decided you have second sight as when you asked about new grandson I explained it was my daughters, then Boom the London lot shared their news! Yours any news?

LP, we're heading " up country" after breakfast on Sunday to stay with our friends in Hants. Heading off to Gatwick, crackodawn Tuesday . Home Jan 31st.
Morning - and what a cold, crisp, sunny one it is too. A lovely winter's day.
30C too hot for me - but hope you enjoy your hols Hosta.
Think I will get outside this morning and sort out the log stores. Two of the three are now just about empty so I can move them & clear out all the leaves trapped under & behind. And then I might have a coffee made using a Christmas present. Haven't had a coffee for days (tea girl) - so first chance to try it.
At some stage I need to do my tax return ....
