    Good morning

so sad for the people of Berlin, grim and so many hurt. my heart goes out to them

wish we had a Waitrose near us, we are too far out for delivery, unless.......Hosta? Will give you coffee?

hope the rain came Pat, but no storm,

joyce, is it to be that bad? Not very festive is it?

baby settling in and mum doing well. Thank you again for all good wishes?

    Mine is OK too.

Morning all. Misty and grey here.

More present wrapping then I'll start on the bedrooms. They are freezing at the moment, heating off - except in ours, but that's on low. Will have to put the rads on and bleed the air out.

I saw the heartbreaking news from Berlin just before I went to bed. Sad news all over the place. Another 2 families from Iraaq will be arriving in a local village soon. Just had news of the family who arrived last December, 4 children, baby due in Feb (safely born in local hospital), they didn't speak French. They've been found housing and have been learning French and now the father has just found work. One poor young woman refugee, who has been helped by local Christians, was raped several times on her nightmare journey from Iraaq.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

It's not working for me either, Dove.

Re the rain - hrmmph!   Bright clear skies from early afternoon on. Not a drop here. I'm disgusted.
