    Hi all.

    Interesting times.

My butler is currently making my breakfast and then I think I may get the chauffer to take me on a little job.

Very sad Chicky, so much more real than some of this other stuff.

Clari., you are far too good for that place.

  • Good morning All,

Raining here, heavily, forecast for the day I think. image

I'm fed up, for so many reasons, but I will pull myself together.

So sad to see the 2 joggers killed, obviously as a runner myself one tends to think along the lines of 'there but for the grace of God ...., such a shame for the young girls and their families though. Hard for Littlest Chicklet as well, bad enough seeing it in the news, knowing someone makes it all too real. image

The tram crash in London also desperately sad. image

Then all this political arguing, it seems to have brought the worst out in some people, all very unsettling. It is a shame that some people can't seem to have a reasoned debate without resorting to insults when they feel they are losing the argument. image

Anyway, busy day, must stop moping around and get on with stuff. image

Hugs to all that need them, especially Punkdoc and Clari. image

Dove - I like emeralds too!  Got one in my engagement ring which I can no longer squeeze over an arthritic knuckle so I might have to get it altered to fit but that will mean it spends its time spinning round my finger all day.   Might wait a while.  See if drier winters help at all.   Fiery opals are another favourite.   Glad you can do tennis again.

Had to google the ad Chicky.  Excellent.   We have a foxy visitor which is fine as we have no chucks but the perisher leaves mess which Rasta doggy then rolls in, very thoroughly.  Two baths already this week.   Hugs for littlest Chicklet and those families.

Chaps are here to do a service on the CH.  Like the chimney sweep they're complaining it's very dirty and badly maintained which is odd as house insurance requires an annual certificate or you get no cover.   And one of the expansion thingies is flooded.........  Going to be expensive.

Pat - Winter river walks sound like a good plan.  Hope you get your tomatoes in.

Clari - auditors sound like a plan too and H&S to see the state of your office conditions.

Everyone - have a good day whatever you're doing.  Hope the weather is behaving.

More hugs for DD from me.

Why , oh why do I go to Waitrose in the morning?? I've just been roped into another shift tomorrow 1-7pm.

I said " I'll speak to Hubby when I get home" Hubby said, " just say no and blame it on me" He's all heart eh?

Hugs for DD from me too.  I think we all need a good hug really after the last few months of Brexit lies and upheaval and now the US plus all the personal tragedies from accidents that shoudn't happen.

DD - be sure to wear light colours to increase your visibility and stay safe.

As for comments and upset on teh boards, there is definitely some disingenuous flaming going on from the usual suspect.  Best to ignore those threads in the first place as no reasoned argument on either side is going to sway opinions.   Interesting tho to read the demographics of the US voters mirrored those in the Brexit and that 46.9 % didn't bother to vote.

Back to the seed sorting for me.  I seem to have rather a lot......

Morning all. I have the same rain as DD.

Hugs to DD. Any further news on the house, or is that a sore subject?

I'm staying indoors today, probably sorting photos.

For some reason OH wants to go to Meadowhall, have not been for years.

Is this going to cost me money?
