Good morning everyone. Good sleep last night. Sorry, all you insomniacs.
I have had to take adult scientists on immersion trips for years and they can be hard to round up - seem to lose individual responsibility when in groups with a "leader" and OH had the same bovver with grown men on golf weekends away - so I can just imagine what a bunch of rampant teenagers can be like.
Wonky - I think you should definitely go for pink steel-capped boots and maybe purple for a spare pair. Glad the first day out went well but not surprised you're tired. Those things are heavy.
Entertaining morning so far. We've had a cock sparrow in the fireplace again and Rasta doggy is determined he's still in there... Good job she had her coat clipped!
Messed about with pots yesterday and moved colourful acer into the sun
Jam jar shopping today then more messing with pots.
Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing..

Thanks Liriodendron (how do you shorten that?!) for giving me some confidence that I haven't wasted those seeds. 40 years under concrete you say? That is some tough plant. The thought of Wonky's pink steel toe-caps made me smile...
Inside greenhouse last night with doors shut was 2 C. Heater plugged in now and checked, Thermostat on 6C.I have lifted Echeveria and removed cannas from tunnel. Double primroses in small pots have been ejected into tunnel. Still more dahlias to lift, but the frost has not touched the big cafe au lait, so I'm leaving it. I can't see it from the house, but single blooms still look good in a vase.
Bank will not certify anything for me. They don't do that apparently. I am going to send copies of all six of my passports , together with something from the tax man that includes my NI number and see if that satisfies them. Otherwise it's more expense with a solicitor.
I'm back from the physio - she's pleased with the progress - so am I - the improvement since the Cupping procedure has been amazing. She did more cupping and I will go to tennis next Wednesday morning and have a physio appointment immediately following that. It 's my last NHS freebie.
I found a nice silk scarf from East for my friend's birthday and a bead necklace for myself Couldn't resist it.
Also got some lovely pork chops and fennel from the market
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Oh, and Obelixx - your stoopid doggie gave me a chuckle too
Morning again ( just )
Back from Barnstaple . Mercifully Mercedes in on the outskirts and on our side of town so I can avoid the centre.
Glorious sunny day so I'm having a cuppa , some toast then heading out into the garden.
Polytunnel doors left open last night and minimum temperature didn't go below 5c. I think tonight is to be much colder , but hey ho, it's November.

Oh, and I've bought a load of big fireworks for my Big Birthday party at the end of the month. Cats go into hiding now.
Good luck Fidget. Bureaucracy can be a nightmare, especially when it involves "job'sworths".
Fidget, did you see my earlier post? Deed Poll is easy - DIY online - you don't need solicitors. Been there and dunnit
Got a certificate to prove it
