Good morning all image  Woke with a stuffed up head and coughing and sneezing - I'm blaming the physio's receptionist who was coughing and sneezing and moaning to someone on the phone about how awful she felt image  I might just spend the day drinking honey and hot lemon - the rest of the bulbs might have to wait "image

    Morning all.

Sorry you aren't feeling well, Dove, keep warm.

OH has recorded Strictly for me, I hope.

I'll be doing some more weeding for daughter today, just watered the bed to make it easier.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all/evening Pat image

    I shouldn't have had a lie-in as it's a beautiful morning. . . . the chill has gone, blue sky and sunshine.

    I love autumn image

    Have a good day.

Anyone for honey and hot lemon?

Although it's brightened up out there it's still very wet underfoot - the Under Gardener says if it dries out enough he'll do some of the jobs that need doing - mow the back lawn and pull up the squash plants - but if he can't do it today he'll do it later in the week image  That'll enable me to get on with the bulb planting and mulching when it's dry enough.

Daft isn't it - I've spent the last month moaning 'cos it was too dry ... now I need to plant things it's too wet  image  but at least the grass seed on the front lawn has been watered image

Dove; can I come and join you with the lemon and honey? We have neither in the house! Sore throat is now fully fledged sniffles. Spent some time in the garden and managed to clear the greenhouse up (sort of!) The bulbs will have to wait though.

Right now the sun is shining through the mucky window right onto the bed so grumpy hound and I are making the most of the only comfortable area to rest in the house.

A quick nap then I really ought think what to do with the pork shoulder I've brought out the freezer for dinner. I'm having a clear out of the freezers to help make moving everything around when the builders come somewhat easier.

However looking at the contents of the freezer this week will be very Pepper Pig heavy!
