Obelixx, must try jigidi - It looks tempting. Yes re the other visitor, it might modify things, but we don't know if she's due before Tuesday or nor (as usual). Could be interesting.

Yvie, be warned, the zentangling is just as addictive as the jigsaws. image

Wonky - glad you're having a lovely last day - nice presents~!!! image

House gleaming and ragu simmering on the hob for bolognese for supper.

Speaking of auto-corrections - some years ago I was proof-reading  a  music festival programme and discovered that Kathleen Ferrier had been replaced by Kathleen Ferrari  -  I think she'd probably have been quite amused by that image

Locksmith has just been, after 2 class to locate us as we are a "lieu-dit" that only recently got a street name so not on many satnavs.   5 mins to change cylinder and give me 3 new keys.  180€!!

Might need to learn a new skill as we have 7 doors to the outside.

Clari....it's your employer's duty to provide decent working conditions. . . . . apart from that, you have your own house to deal with.  Can you stick a few posters on the walls?

    See original post

Joyce. I already have posters on the walls to keep the draft out where it looks like someone has head butted their way out.

Dove. . . that's becoming a habit image......courtesy of daughter, Iv'e joined you, Wonky and Lantana  in having a purple dressing gown image

Daughter also brought divisions from six different Hostas which will get potted up. Pay back time for what she's had from my garden.

Pat...I hope you are coping with visitors.

  • Evening, my dressing gown is red and fluffy and I'm also snuggled on sofa with cauliflower cheese, a follow on from bacon and mozzarella balls. Catching up on Missing episodes. ?

Joyce it's too dark to sit on the terrace after supper so flolloping is all there is to do image

DD all GW wearers of dressing gowns can be members of the Purple Dressing Gown Club, even if they're not actually purple! the colour is a state of mind image

Evening all. We are safely in the Norfolk cottage and have been out to a local pub for a pint and a meal. Were travelling at lunch time so didn't have any. It gets dark so early here with being further north and the hour's difference in time.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
