I'll vouch for the roominess of Peugeots - Wonky's lovely hub has one, and he's also 6'7".

Joyce: I can't count the number of times I've gone to get a step out to change a light bulb to find he's already done it. Trouble is he is well known for hiding things on the top of the kitchen cupboards.... like my treats jar!

Perfectly: his friend is also 6ft 7" and so they make the ideal pair when moving heavy items (like the slate hearth they moved yesterday.. I was so grateful! When I try and light things with him I'm always off balance trying to reach his version of low!)

Just writing a to do list of things I want to get completed for the weekend. The normal washing, more washing, ironing, making dog treats, more washing (there's only two of us: how do we wear so many clothes in just a week??), knocking off the plaster on the last wall (yay), possibly buying stove (bigger yay)....

I think I'm going to get up early, scare the neighbours in my dressing gown (ha - like they'll be up before its light) and get those bulbs planted first thing before anything else gets done. They must be feeling so naked sat there waiting all this time.

There's a lot to be said for convertibles - I'd never have got my 8ft amelanchier home from the GC last May without having my top down image

Good point Dove. Perhaps Hosta does deserve a nice sporty model with tight back end suspension and an optional extra roof for when the sun shines.

Last day of term: I think most of the teachers must be in the pubs my phone hasn't rang all day :(
