Congratulations fidget on your 1st wedding anniversary. That year went quick, doesn't seem that long ago we were all on your hen night and saw your lovely pics too.
Oblixx sorry about pusscat.
Lovely pic Fairy.
Dove, you be careful bending over the chair, you might get more aches than before
Yes Joyce - most definitely cooler here (that's teeth chattering). Glad you had a nice lunch outLizzie for the pool filter. Sounds expensive. South was only as far as Cheshire which is south enough for me to drive. Takes about four hours with a pitstop. Hope your Orange is sorted soon.
... Have started putting a blanket across the end of the bed for the last few nights.
Same here Lantana, although we still have the summerweight duvet on - the thicker one would be too much but some nights at about 2am simply pulling the blanket up over the duvet is just what's needed
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hello all. Talking about cooler nights - - we still need flannelette sheets and blanket and doona. When I checked in the GH this morning, two of my tomato plants looked a bit wilted. The thermometer overnight got down to zero. The spring is certainly taking its time taking over from winter.
I planted some seeds in my bottom heat propagater a week or so ago, and some of them have germinated. Might get them gping for the summer if it ever arrives.
Looking back at my photo of seedlings, I realise you might not know what a Kumato is, so here's a photo of some. I can only but them from Woolworths - Coles and Aldi don't sell them. They are very like a Black Russian Tomato, but flavour is better, IMO.

. Obelixx - sorry about Pusscat.
Good to have you back Lesley. . . . no doubt you will find mornings and evenings a bit chillier than down south.
Had a very enjoyable lunch with the 'girls' and could do with a snooze now
No room for any more food today.
Take care Dove.
Sorry hadn't read back when posted earlier.

Time to sort out evening meal, SYL peeps x
Glad you're back Lesley. I know you went South, but how far? I thought it was hols, but sounds more as though you've been caring for your Mum and Dad.
Pool filter man came. Will be another big bill as it needs replacing.

Oh Ob I am sorry to hear about puss cat. I hope you choose a suitably sunny spot.
One room deplastered... one more to go (but not tonight). We started trying to add up costs.... cripes!
Also we went to pick up the slate hearth this morning.
1. It was the wrong finish
2. with the wrong edging
3. and the wrong piece of slate
Other than that it looked lovely. Hopefully OUR slate piece will be done tomorrow!
Back to work tomorrow. Which fool booked 90 children in for her first day back?

We still have the summer duvet, and window open, but I will confess we don't tend to take the thick dog blanket off the bed like we said we would.
I might treat us to a new winter quilt soon... well as soon as we stop covering everything in plaster dust.
We have changed to the spring/autumn duvet. The light summer one wasn't warm enough when it's been -2° and the heating is hardly on in the bedroom.
Just been watching a new drama "Missing", think I'm getting hooked.
