It all looks and sounds very exciting DD.image I can visualise the window boxes. . . . .

It would be great if you won the Euro Lottery but failing that hope that there are some grants available for you.

    Wow DD!

You really have a vision and very clear idea of what you want to achieve. I'm sure you could carry this on your enthusiasm alone but clearly extra pennies could help it along.

I think it's a brilliant idea to have a social side for the locals. Visitors might spend more pennies on a single visit but a regular and steady income would be invaluable. Perhaps you could consider hosting something like a regular book and / or sewing club as well.

Really hope it works out for youimage

Where once was a wall and rediculous door layout now there is....

Exciting photos of progress and hopes. It's good to have such plans. The tea room ideas sound lovely.

We've sort stopped thinking about improvements since we retired back here 10 years ago. Maybe that's why I'm feeling a bit stale. The trouble is that we don't want to spend much more on the place since we might have to move into town as we get older and we wouldn't get our money back when trying to sell the place. We don't want to leave a big headache for the two kids to sort out, especially since they don't live close by. Time to think positively.

Is it my imagination, or has Charlie grown heaps since the last photo. He seems much taller.image

thanks for the info about Brexit, folks. That makes things much clearer for me.

Morning all. Fear not we all safely cuddled up with hot water bottles and blankets

I don't mind the mess, the dust, the draft. Because already it is so much better than it was.

But it'll be nice when we can have somewhere to sit!

OH is off to work. I have a quiet day of resting my shoulder ahead of me image

Morning all and afternoon Pat image

It's frustrating to have to rest your shoulder Dove but worth it in the long run.

Washing machine is on so hope there is a bit of a breeze today.

I'd better put a load in too Joyce. And I must pop down to pick up a prescription and something for supper. I'll go in the car rather than bike, as that's probably not good for my shoulder image
