    Morning all.

Nowt so fancy as venison or duck here. Hubby did a lovely chicken thigh tray bake last night and tonight we're having Thai prawn red curry.

Off to bag up wood chip this morning ready for mower to have new belt fitted then can carry on clearing up fallen leaves/ grass.

Mower dealer said " the belt might be covered by the warranty, but if John Deere don't pay up, you'll have to"

"might a phone call to JD clarify things?"

they're going to submit an invoice and , if it  gets paid, they'll fit the new belt, and if JD don't pay, I'll have my usual repair guy fix it.

Why are things so complicated? It's still under warranty, it's either covered, or it's not?

Enjoy the weekend folks. Don't forget to put the clocks forward tonight.image

Morning all! Afternoon Pat! Its the weekend!!!! image

Purple dressing gown on, first coffee being drunk, already been "called for" by Flatface the shedcat who believes breakfast should not be at irregular times whether its the weekend or not!

Happy birthday to Lilyp! Think Chicky has cake left but I know her and Clari have bulbs to plant, so save the cake Chicky, we don't want to be a distraction! image

I'm not going to list all the things I plan to get done today....just in case it doesn't happen! imageimage

Have a lovely day all! image

Afternoon Wonky and everyone else. Sitting here watching the box while a chicken curry is smelling up the atmosphere. Not long to go, and just got fingers that "you know who" doesn't turn up, her car was parked at her mothers place today. image

Catch you all later. Are you looking forward the the clock change tomorrow?

Good morning all!  Afternoon Pat - hope the curry lives up to expectations...

Long time no "see" on here.  Been away, then busy, then nursing sick OH, then ill myself, then busy again.  But got a week now before going to Scotland for a month so thought I'd dive in to Forkers.

A quick catch-up reveals you've all been busy!  So - respect to Puncdoc - the world needs people like you.  Thank you for doing what the rest of us haven't the bottle to take on.  Congrats to Clari on the total destruction of the inside of your house, to Wonky on the new job, to DD for progress on the Chateau and on life in general, to Fairy on mountains conquered and photos shared, to Chicky on covering virtually the whole country in search of the right uni for Chicklet, to Obelixx on a successful house move, to Hosta on going above and beyond the call of duty in the job, and to the rest of you for keeping the suppliers of Spring bulbs and purple dressing gowns in business.  image

    Have a good weekend!

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

The curry went down very well, thanks. We finished off with some nice cooling yoghurt.

Watching something called "where the wild men are".  They were chasing sheep around some hills which looked very much like Fairygirls lovely hills. Not sure where they are but talk was about being on the moors. Different show to what we usually watch.
