Been a busy day. Phone man this morning while I was arranging tables and doing HW for the Bring and Share lunch I'm hosting for 25 tomorrow. Made salads and cooked chicken this afternoon then went to see OH singing with the choir. Was just in time to start recording Strictly while I made supper, which we then went and ate in front of the TV. OH only watches it for Darcy Bussell, but he fell asleep.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

All Dahlias up and tubers drying in the study! OH not pleased. Cannas potted up and in the porch.

Have been spoilt rotten since I came home, I must do dangerous things more often!

Sadly OH lost her job whilst I was away, so although I may get more spoiling, she is not a happy bunny at the moment.

Hi everyone. It took me ages to catch up with your doings. It's darned cold this morning. Just having my shoulders and arms out is a bit of an effort.

punkdoc, glad you're catchong up on garden jobs, but sorry that OH has lost her job. There's always something, isn't there. I woke through the night after a nightmare about being trappped in a collapsed building.image Typical dream for a claustraphobe!

Busyl, I'd love to be able to hear your Hubbys choir. I'm envious.

Wonky, I'm looking forward to hearing about the new job and what exciting things you'll be doing.

Obelixx, I used to grow kiwi fruit when I lived in Canberra. Lovely to be able eat them right from the vine. The chances are that the one you've found is a make since mine always seemed more vigorous than the female vine which was much better behaved and sedate. image (Of course).

congrats on all the other garden and house renovations. It all sounds full on. Can't remember much more, so sorry to all those I missed.

Morning all. Lovely sunny but cold spring day here. Took some photos around the garden and put then on the garden photos thread.

ive been trying to get the visitors room up to scratch before our Melbourne visitors arrive later this week. It took much more effort than anticipated, but I'm getting there. I've also packed the washed pet beds into plastic bin containers for Hubby to store in the garage - much better than under the visitors bed image.

I'm still waiting for him to vacuum under the bed, but he's not too eager and you can't rush these things. I'm just waiting so that I can get a nice hot mop to wash under there with some pine-o-clean to make it smell fresh. Wish he'd get a move on. I've got a lot planned this week. Psychologist Monday, Dietitian Tuesday, HRH to be groomed Wednesday and Hubby to have his usual chiropractic visit. I can just see them arriving Wednesday night and the room will still be half done.

Obelixx I just read back what wrote earlier about the vigorous Kiwi vine.  I meant male, not make. Darned spell checker. I thought I'd turned it off. image

Afties Pat - and morning to all those to come  image

Heading out in a fw minutes to take daughter to work and then going to Luss. ope the cloud lifts enough for a view or two.

Horrible kind of dream Pat. Hope you're a bit warmer now.

doc - nice to be spoiled but not so good for Mrs doc. Will she get something else do you think?

Will catch up later with you all. Have a good day whatever you get up to.

    Morning all.

Pitch black outside so , clearly, I should still be asleep, not heading off to the coal face.
