Morning all. Another day of DIY looms! Hopefully by the end of today we will have at least reached the end of the destructive phase.

I'm in 16 minds as to which pots to put my tulips in. I think next year will be quite the mix match.

Good morning all, afternoon Pat image

Been AWOL again but just no time to sit and noodle! Not even one day off between leaving old job and starting new one! image

The garden is looking abandoned, desolate, and neglected so I will be featuring heavily on the gallery of shame thread.image

Glorious sunny morning here, all sparkly and bright. Still in bed with coffee number two image

Welcome back Pdoc, glad you are safe, think we all are worried/impressed at your action.

Welcome back Bushman, looking forward to seeing more of your pictures image

Hosta! Or what's left of you! Wow! Congratulations on the weight loss, oh and Steve also! Very well done!

Dove, have a lovely trip tomorrow, send our love please x

Enjoy the latest uni reckie Chicky, garden spotting from the train windows is what I love!

Are you walking this weekend Fairy? I could give you my pedometer image then I could walk off those chips I had yesterday! image

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

Morning all - it is still morning isn't it? I seem to have slept for Britain....image

There seems to have been a frost here - it's only three degrees now - but I've managed to miss that! Sun's up now and it's looking fair.

You've been very productive Pat. I hate doing that sort of job. image

What a lovely present chicky. I thought it was a gorgeous tree. I love all rowans, especially our native one, but that was particularly beautiful.

I now have quite a lot of large pots crying out for some more bulbs or something Clari....I think it will be more sweet peas though. Glad the end is in sight a little bit with your building work. Once the 'shell' is there it goes along quickly. I've done so much work in various houses over the years and it gets quite soul destroying. Nice when you start getting new floors and wallpaper and paint going in  image

Time for another cuppa now that the washing's on and the birds are fed.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

We posted at the same time Wonks. Good to see you. Hope all is going well with the new job  image

Walking tomorrow as there's lots of fog etc forecast for the hills and tomorrow looked a bit brighter where I want to go. Never mind your chips - I didn't get out last weekend and I've been a bit greedy myself this week....image  image

You've just reminded me - I meant to compliment B'man on his photos. I can't tell you how beautiful that area is. If the weather's right - it's among the most stunning in the world. my work colleague is up there just now as it's our school holiday week. Think she's been fairly lucky weather wise. Our countryside programme up here (Landward) ran a little viewer poll to nominate Scotland's best beach. The whole item was stunning.

    Morning all.

Another glorious sunny morning here . Breezy from NW so might well be a bit chilly but it should dry the dew off quickly so I might take the mower under the wood and keep on top of any fallen leaves.

No Adam on GW last night. image but lots of box blight.image

I haven't been watching the weather forecast for a while now Fairy as I find it arms me with excuses not to do things! image I find its better for me to just crack on and see what I can put up with! But for hill walking I think its probably sensible to chose the brighter day of the two! image I can't believe I still have never been up to your neck of the woods Fairy! But hubby and I aren't heat seekers when it comes to holidays and really do love the beautiful countryside we have in Britain, so i know we will make it there before too long!

I've got 40 cream crocus bulbs that I still haven't found a home for yet, think it was you Fairy that suggested a pot......it may actually get done today!

Morning Hosta, glad you have a bit of sunshine!
