    Morningimage

FiL visiting us today, and heavy showers forecast .......but tomorrow will be a gardening day ......the first for many weeksimage. Have accumulated a fair few plants that need to be got into the ground - sounds simple, but for the weeding that will need to happen to create space for themimage

But first another cuppa and a few more chapters of Monty's new book - which is a great read even if you are not a particularly doggy personimage

Morning all/afties Pat. Washing waiting to go out here, but I'm waiting for the fog to go  image

It's been very chilly here - still only about five degrees when I put bird food out ten minutes ago. Supposed to warm up a bit.

Intended walking today, but slept very badly. I need to take daughter to work early tomorrow anyway, so will go then. Might need some extra layers  image

Hope today is better BL. Buying some little furries for the grand kids will hopefully help x

Come on DD - get the gear on and crack on...image

I'm drinking coffee. Unusual for me. I might have to continue some more painting today. Got quite a lot done yesterday evening.  Would like to get some bulbs in and do the front grass. It'll have to dry up a fair bit though. It's well covered in sparkly dew image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Morning all.

Sunshine and showers here again today, but hopefully I'll finish moving the Hostas in the tunnel today.

More chippings coming lunchtime and discuss delivery of logs for the woodburner.

    On a sadder note:

How long will this barbarism be allowed to continue?

Just finishing off the washing in the tumble dryer, except for dog beds which can spend the night out there. Wind is very cold.

hope your day is good everyone.

Ooh sad story Hosta. I hate that sort of sport, but it's still got a following, sadly.

Isn't it funny , we've banned all the sports where animals are hurt, cock fighting, dog fighting, badger baiting etc, but some still think it acceptable for adults to  punch each other and a " knock out" is seen as the pinnacle of achievement.

Anywhere else that sort of behaviour would end up with people in court for assault.

  • I've been in the last two hours looking at the garden centre wondering why I do this!  I won't have to water anything outside, hurrah!  Had breakfast, on my second pint mug of tea and waiting on a delivery of logs.  Dove, a curry sounds lovely.  I used to visit a friend of mine earl on a Saturday morning when I was policing (in South London) and snaffle some of his Friday night lamb's heart curry, hot stuff.  It's definitely curry weather this morning.  Ferrets and chickens will have to wait a little longer for their breakfast, just 'til my tea's gone.

Yikes! Just found on the evening news that we have to put our clocks back an hour  tonight. Why wasn't I told?  Now I've got to re-calculate WHEN you all are, Der!

Planning on watching David Attenborough about frogs shortly. Should be good.
