    Morning all.

Dry, breezy, but cloudy. Will it stay dry long enough to get the dew off the grass and allow me to cut it?

Lots to do and difficult to prioritise .

Another cuppa should help clear the thought processes.

    Devon.

    Morning all,

A lovely sunny morning here.  Planning to get out into the garden and get some of the jobs that are piling up done.  Promised myself I would sort the greenhouse out but I'd much prefer to get the daffs inimage

First another cuppa I think.  Have a good day everyone.

Whooppeeeeeee!  Just had an invitation to best friend's Big Birthday Party (how can she have reached that age, she's 27, like the rest of us image).

As her birthday is at the beginning of November she's having a Bonfire Party on 5th November - we received the invitation at 10.20am - by 10.40am I'd booked us into the local pub for B&B that night ... I need to be able to drink her very good health!!!

T'bird - -that Grand Tours series is slightly less scenic than some of the others, but quite good all the same. Glad you liked  the pic. There's a whole load of them on the camera thread too.

Dove - hope the physio helped. There was plenty of wooden stuff being advertised here earlier. Ideal for a big bonfire ... image

A builder with plenty of tools Clari. Just what you need, as long as they actually use them and don't just drink your tea....image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Well, the greenhouse is insulated ready to overwinter my seedlings and Iris reticulata planted.image

Time for a cuppa and then I'll decide what to do next.

Good luck with the builders Clari, you've been upside down for so long you wont know what to do with yourself when it's all spick and span.

Harrumph!  Apparently I overdid it yesterday - the Physio thinks it was probably done by yanking the dead leaves out of the phormium image

She's worked out that I'm an All Or Nothing sort of a gal, and has prescribed two days of Nothing, then I can start to do GENTLE GARDENING!!!  image

I am allowed to sit on the sofa and knit and noodle with you lot, and I can cook pork chops and fennel for supper - I am also allowed to wander around the garden (keeping my neck and shoulder warm) and make notes and supervise the Under Gardener.

Clari, hope the builders don't leave their tools lying around in the kitchen image

I'm curious guys. Having watched yet another episode of A Place in the Sun, Home or Away, I'm wondering how the Brexit decision will affect people buying houses in France, Spain, Belgium, etc. Will it make a difference? Don't really understand it.  We didn't realise that law decisions were affected until we heard something on Tele about it. Maybe this is the wrong venue to ask, just tell me to pull my head in if I'm treading on sore toes. Apologies in advance if so.image
