kornflake, you obviousy wrote this post to provoke people, therefore you can't complain if they respond to it in kind. Next time, perhaps you should think before you post! BTW, I enjoy seeing snippets of Nigel and Nelly too. Go Monty and pals!
I wondered what this thread was about! I only started watching it this year so haven't got anything to compare it to but I personally am learning a lot! I love the dog shots, there aren't that many are there?! I don't have a dog (always wanted one - cry!) and it's so nice to see how pet dogs meander around the garden and their love for Monty! I agree with Aym, CK's little summaries are very informative and the piece on the delphinium farm the other day was ace. I like others have been taping it and will fast forward any bits I don't find interesting. Brill show, I hope it covers how to remove dahlia tubers if that time ever comes- waiting for that lol
I sat there thinking about Lamorna.I used to do a lot of diving out of Lamorna The rocks shown at the left hand edge of the cove are known as the Cannon site, some old cannons were found there from a Shipwreck. Doing a giant stride entry off the harbour wall was interesting. An old man was walking through the cove one day,I was sure I knew him. Hello, I said , and smiled. He smiled back andsaid Hello. It wasn't until he was half way up the path on the other side of the cove that I remembered.John Le Carre , he has a house overlooking the sea half way between Lamorna and Porthcurno.
I have to wait until tomorrow evening to watch the programme, but you have all whetted my appetite for the slot on Cornwall - don't let Verdun hear you say that aym - the weather is always sunny in his neck of the woods - isn't that right Verdun?

It's a wonderful and very atmospheric stretch of coastline. Love that area
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
This is the first one I have watched. I enjoyed most of it. The dog bits don't bother me now that there is more time.
Not sure about the cooking bit at the end.Too many cooking programmes as it is.
