Our spuds - OH's idea, not mine - are chitting in the annex which is bright but unheated and progress is very slow. Just as well as the ground is too very soggy to plant them at the mo. Not that I'm complaining about rain. I can wait.

Only topped up the bird feeders - first thing and later this morning and will do one more top up later this afternoon. Too cold for any gardening today - hopefully tomorrow will be a nicer day outside.
Bitterly cold out there, watered the plants in the greenhouse and that's about it. Had a check at the frogspawn and it seems alright the pond hasn't frozen over this time. Have kept the pump running which has helped to keep it clear.
