Anyone done any gardening today - version 3

  • Just potted some more geranium cuttings that have rooted in water and sowed some Praying Hands Hosta seeds I collected.

Had a quick look in my greenhouse this morning. Most of my tomatoes are just about ripe so I think I will start working on getting the GH shut down this week. My heater is constantly running and that costs money. Will be -7 tonight and no big warm up insight for the next couple weeks.

So I will get the shelves ready in my basement cold room for the green toms, the bulbs and the tubers. One more coffee and head out to the GH to toss out my little planter of Impatiens (in full bloom) and a pot of mint. I hate doing that, they are looking sooo good!

Michael , I agree nice to try these things

On one of the sites , somebody mentioned there cape gooseberrys had not flowered , well I read that the North is unlikely to get enough sun so it was suggested over wintering in G/h and carry on growing next year so having ago
