Got more plants into the ground, 7pm - 9pm.  Rained here all night, still raining now, much cooler this morning, expecting a frenzy of growth after the rainfall.

  • In the shade of overhanging branches we stripped the leaves off smaller branches and twigs ready to shred sometime in the future.  Too hot do to any actual gardening today though.

Are you in the UK Iamweedy, I have looked the RHS plantfinder says there is no such plant, and I can only see it on American sites?

A Strikes/Klondike  Garden centre near Congleton  on the A34. They are the best GC within 10miles.

There was another good one up the road that had been really big but they closed very suddenly.

Yes I am in the UK the look at these.  Many  other places  go in for cottage garden type perennials as their speciality.

They seem to go in for more specialised varieties of plants

I wish I had not started looking at the available varieties. Its started raining or at least only damping enough so that my hair frizzes. We really need a lot more rain here but meantime I will drool over the pictures .
