I've got three of them Verdun, all bought reduced very cheaply. I'm going to divide the oldest one , second season, next spring. This one seems happy in a damper spot of the garden . I've just planted three big ,plump dark blue camassia bulbs alongside it, I'm hoping they'll look great together. One in the front garden looked lovely next to dark blue lupins and delphiniums.
hi all at long last I have got my poly tunnel up my 2mates came down garden this morn/ in between rain we slotted it up put bolts in all frame put cover on I had forgot it had roll up windows in side needs 1 last cover inside for the bark chips to go on floor so as I don't slip on tarp/sheet it looks the bee.s knees ..you don't realise how big in side is 3x2x2 even though it has pins in frame put a timber over base of sheet and put a solid bag of cement on it and a drop kerb on other end will get mate to bend me some thick pins for frame Michael
Michael , on the allotment plot next to mine they put some " lorry straps " over there secound poly tunnel , the first being destroyed by wind last winter
Brrr!! Extremely shiver-worthy today. Can't decide if it's sleeting or just freezing cold rain.
Don't normally do winter bedding but ordered a bargain bin lucky dip and had 3 lots of pansies and some wallflowers turn up this week. Lovely little plants. Put some in pots, HB's and containers and bringing the rest on.
Royal Mail delivered, after 12 days, some dead primula denticulata. I might be able to resurrect them as the roots look pretty good. Complained to everyone and their respective dogs.
Been blustered back into the house now. Can't be bulbing today.

Be tempted Verdun if your soil isn't too dry.
I have them in two areas of the garden.
Given the size of your borders Verdun, I'd need to take out a mortgage for the number you would want

That's good Michael. A bit of protection for you and the plants.
I've given up on gathering the leaves as the wind is bringing more down as I was clearing them.

Must admit a poly tunnel sounds exciting
