    Lots more leaves gathered, bedding emptied out of pots ready to plant tulip bulbs.

    A foggy but very mild day here in London.  Tried to dig out some Horseradish roots from our raised veggie bed, a horrible, horrible task, with no end of this dreadful plant in sight.  On a brighter note, we planted up some wall mounted planters with ferns and attached them to the wall.  Pleased with the result, they break up the brickwork of the house.

    I like the ferns too, lush and green, unlike mineimage

    Did some more work on my path though the bog garden. It doesn't look too bad for saying it's made out of compost bags and smashed up gravelly concrete...image Well, I'll have another look next time I'm at home in the daylightimageimage

    Planted some more wallflowers,had to stop back was hurting.image

    Pricked out some snapdragons and did a check of everything in the greenhouse...but mostly digging out weeds.

    Hollie Hock , we where thinking  of getting the boat to Caldy but the tourist boats finish end of October , so have missed it , will have to come back next year image

    Have a couple of ferns in damp shady areas and they do ok
