Started weeding a bed I call The Bog, I let it get out of control. I'm bodging a path through it so next year it will be accessible. Moved a few of my fave plants in the bog and in the behind the bog border, got room for a few new things also.
Parkers sent me 25 free Nectaroscordum bulgaricum because I let them know I had 3 bad ones (which was nice of them) and I got them all planted out. Still got a canny few (boxes of) bulbs to plant out but got some hyacinths potted and two eremurus out.
Reviewed my plants to buy list and ripped out some things that aren't overwhelming me with joy
We started off another 9 dumpy sacks with fresh tree chippings ready for the mower to have a new drive belt and I'll add grass/ fallen leaves to them , lasagne style. That's 43 sacks on the go now.
Finished weeding the big " tropical" bed at the front of the house and stacked a new batch of logs.
43 sacks Hostafan1? You must have a large area to store all these sacks. We sorted out some old leaf mould which was put into sacks last year and is almost ready to use. We have started two more sacks and will probably collect more leaves in the coming weeks. We haven't had any big strong winds yet this Autumn, so there are still plenty of leaves on the trees.
been down this morn dug over where I had the 2 big rows of beetdug and turned where I have walked both sides 4ft wide 10 ft long x2 then the path where I walked between onions and pots about same size now I think winter has it go at killing all off all bugs polly tunnel will be done this week now only dog kennel roof to do now Michael
Buried some bulbs and uncovered a bundle of couch grass. At a half halt with the rest of my bulbs as I need some roses/ other bulbs to arrive and waiting for some pots to be freed up. Think I might have too many crocus but it's impossible to calculate at this stage. Impossible!
Psyched myself up to move a rose but realised I needed to move a small Holly and a flowering aster/sympho first and went off the idea
There's a bit of an autumnal glow outside so will make a brew and have a potter. Could smash up some slabs/rubble lumps I suppose...need the pieces for some diy bodgery
Yeah, winter officially cancelled here in the SE, OH gardening as we speak, clearing, (complaining of lack of rain) I have cleared and dug over 3 veg plots, nice and tidy lots of that blasted oxalis. He cut the grass yesterday and collected the leaves with the mower

I get second hand builders' dumpy sacks from the builders' merchant. They're roughly 1m3 and make great leaf holders.
I have them in 3 different parts of the garden and also 2 enclosures about 4m square.

Not sure if I've finished for the day or not?
