    Morning all.

Hugs for all those who need one, esp Bushman and DD.

Misty but breezy with the promise of sun soon.

Hope to get the grass done and clear more bullrush from the lake.

4 lots of hog food devoured last night.

I'm sure one of them hides, waiting for me. I came in from work at 8.30 last night and realised I'd left the bird food tub outside all day. Brought it in and looked out the window to see one of the spikey's sniffing round the feeding station. I'm sure he thought I was bringing out his supper so I had to oblige.

    I love the hogs. image

Another one in my " handy ignore " section yesterday. It'll just be the good guys left soon. image

    Devon.
  • Hosta, image the hogs snuffle around under the feeding station clearing up all the dropped bits of sunflower heart - they love sunflower 'cos it's high in fat which is what they need for the winter.

Fairy, love Simon Mayo's prog here too - which reminds me, must do my 'Confession' image

I just love Simon Mayo full stop, Dove image

Did you hear the 'you've got a hamster in your Hobnobs?' one? Hilarious

    Confession you say? Do tell.....image

Carol on the weather has reliably informed me that the rain is heading east for tomorrow so your grass may get to look as green as mine soon  image

I'm going to make a few holes in the corner of the garden at the shed now that I seem to have stopped cats getting in with the fabulous water scarecrow. There's loads of great places for hogs in there.

Glad that chancer's gone - it was getting utterly ridiculous  image

I understand now Dove - I don't listen to the Archers but you explained the storyline before. As it rings a bell for me, I hope they jail him and throw away the key  image

    Morning all!

Feeling much better today: I've been trying the whole eat little and often and healthy and use the liquid nutritional mush the GP advised and.... nothing was helping. My stomach was not happy. Last night being utterly fed up I stuffed my face with chips and junk food with a good helping of tomato sauce and iron bru.

Taa daa! Today my stomach is no longer a growling horrible mess and I actually had enough energy to be cheerful to the boss!

Amazing what a plate of chips can do!

For everyone who sponsored me on my H2 0nly challenge... THANK YOU & not long now! I have however realised that not only will I be having 130 students visiting the museum (of the small screaming foundation stage variety) during the 10 days but... I WILL HAVE A SCOUT CAMP RIGHT AT THE START OF IT! That's all the prepping meals, the planning, the having to entertain them for 24 hours, the complete lack of sleep on my camp bed in the museum gift shop... all powered by tap water (you can't even have sparkling so no bubbles to lift me up).

I for see a LOT of chocolate being consumed.

Yesterday I tried to wean myself off caffeine a little to see how bad it was. It didn't go well. To start I only lasted til 07:00 before my first mug but then filed with resolve I went to work full of hope that I'd not even miss my six or seven cups of tea a day I have... I made it until 14:00.

    Oops!

All for a good cause though: I've raised £132.50 already so again THANK YOU!

(For anyone who can't understand what I'm waffling on about this might help: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/nesmlearning )

    Right. I'd best get on!

    Keep safe everyone.

Oh! I forgot to tell you! On my way home from work yesterday I had to take a very scenic route due to a poor lorry stacked with hay bales catching fire. I went passed a farm and what sign did I see on their gate?

    FREE WELL ROTTED HORSE MANURE.

Guess where I'm going at the weekend? I can get two ton in the truck so I should only need a few trips to top everything up for autumn! :D

Oh Clari - I managed to miss your challenge somehow - but I've caught up now. Brilliant cause!

Don't know how long I could last without tea...image

At the risk of sounding like Paul Whitehouse in The Fast Show - aren't chips brilliant?  image

...although I don't eat many! Glad you're feeling a bit more human  image
