  • Edit button times out after 5 mins SGL. Stops some crafty misbehaviour that went on in the past image  It means that we have to put up with some misspellings etc, but it's better than being manipulated by trolls.

We have rain and thunder and lightening.  Ahead of schedule but welcome nonetheless.   Had to leap out of bed and shut the Veluxes in the attics!

Polishing brass and copper thingies today so I can take them to the Troc to sell.  About as thrilling as SGL's wallpaper stripping but must be done. OH is playing golf.  That'll be fun!

Have a good day with your sister and the chicklets.  FG too up your hills.  And everyone else whatever you're doing.

  • Sometimes it takes longer than the five minutes to actually get it working Dove, by that time it's too late lol.  But I understand what you mean, shame isn't it that people can't be nice to each other.

Best stop mooching on here, the wallpaper steamer is calling!image

Still cool and windy here but not wet.  OH did not have any thunder at Mons so golf not interrupted.

The garden looks a lot less dusty after the rain and the grass already seems a bit greener and has a mere 6 new mole hills for decoration.

I have progressed from cleaning brass and copper in the kitchen to sorting sewing stuff in the attic. I need a coffee too and then I may be gone a while........

Dove - Hope you get dry fish and chips.

Hope it's been a good day for everyone else's projects to day.   How was the cinema DD?   Possum went to see the new Star Trek in French last week.  Couldn't wait for us (Dad) to drive her to a cinema showing it in English.
