Almost fully tea'd up Lily: I don't twitch as much now!
Chicky; today I had to admit to needing to put the light on in the kitchen to make morning drinks. I couldn't find the kettle much less make a hot drink from the glow of the light!
I'm off to an AGM today. I feel rather as though it will involve lots of smiling politely and sitting around on my own (I'm the only person from the museum going). It's a day somewhere different I guess AND is being held in another museum so I can pinch ideas!
Liri; hope you feel better soon. Drink plenty!
Pat; most DIY stores in the UK at least have detectors. Really good bits of kit well worth having for peace of mind.
Lesley; funny how some dogs are like dustbins and inhale everything in sight. Others you drop a steak on the floor and they look at you demanding a napkin and silver plate.
He ate some chicken snacks so I know he's not unwell.
Morning all/afties Pat. The CM detector sounds a good idea. They're becoming 'the norm' here. Especially in new homes.
Vile day here. Slightly milder than yesterday I think - wouldn't be hard though. I've had the heating on every morning for the last week - albeit only for ten minutes to take the chill off. WInd to arrive tonight although I'm hoping we may miss the worst of it.
I wondered if doc was on holiday LP. Think he was going but I'm hopeless at remembering dates for things like that. The days go by in a blur for me. Am I getting old?
Not seen Plant pauper either recently. Perhaps she's building an arc over there...
Thanks chicky - sounds nice. I don't care for asters, but that one could possibly tempt me...
Work Hosta - what's that about....if only we didn't have to....
Off for a look round now and then head for t'mill. Have a good day everyone.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Raining. . . . I vaguely remember Pdoc was going up to Gairloch. . . . weather hasn't been good there
Good to see you LP. Yes, it's wrap up time in the garden..
Awake for a while during night and listened to most of the Clinton/Trump debate on bedside radio. . . . ..that man can waffle and distort facts. . . . scary.
Have woken up with a sore throat and tickly cough. But not feeling poorly with it.
Washing on the go and almost ready to hang out.
Going to sort out the linen cupboard today. I'm getting good at sorting at the mo. Charity shops are doing well from me these past few weeks. Where does it all come from!!
Sun beams on toast sounds lovely Wonks, might have some later
GWRS - I thought Hilary won hands down - but then I'm impressed by facts, evidence and reasoned debate.
If you're impressed by arrogance, ignorant bluster and button-pressing soundbites you'll have been impressed by Tr*mp ... worrying
((hugs)) for poorly peeps.
((special hugs)) for Wonky - I know she's been swotting up on the groundcover-type planting and is very grateful for everyone's help.
SGL - when you've finished sorting your lot, there's a linen cupboard here ... I can't reach the top shelf at the moment 'cos of my shoulder - you're welcome to come and sort it for me ... as long as you're not infectious
