The rabbits/squirrels/mice enjoyed the flowers of my Goldstrum.    Have a few unscathed in another area of the garden.

DD - as the others have said - you'll have these days, but I promise you they will get fewer and further between.  Every so often, when I feel vulnerable, I remind myself of the reality of my ex's behaviour. That soon gets me focused. You've done the hardest bit. Everyone here will help to keep your spirits up when you're down. You've no idea how much they helped me - without even knowing it.    Love to you both x  image

Evening all. No grass cut today but carried on layering up the " dumpy sacks" with grass clippings ( from last night ) and wood chippings. 12 bags almost full now.image

Driven under cover when the drizzle became , good old fashioned, rain.

DD, like everyone has said, you have come so far! No one expects you to be top form every day, nobody is! Hugs x

I hope you're pleased with your tidying up Hazel.

In Belgium we are required by law to keep our property edges clean and clear so we have to remove any litter tossed out of passing cars, weed the road edge and cut the grass along the verge of our paddock.  In winter we're supposed to clear snow.....

I hope all that layering hasn't done your neck in again Hosta.

Evening chaps. image I'm slowly reading everyone's 'back story' but I'm still not very sure what's going on. I think I'm getting a rough idea that you've been through the mill DD. It sounds like your situation is much better than it used to be, but big changes are never easy. Be kind to yourself. Hopefully you'll be happy as a sock by the weekend image

Rained all day here. Which given I moved a load of self seeded foxgloves yesterday is probably a good thing.

I love pork crackling. But boiled pig skin? image

Off to watch Poldark on the iPlayer. I don't care about the historical (or geographical) inaccuracies. It's not supposed to be education, it's just entertainment. As long as they get the atmosphere right for the story I'll ignore the burglar alarms. And the fact that Truro doesn't and never has looked anything like that. And isn't on the coast image
