Good morning all We're awake ....... just ............. and it's 19.9C out there already
The people we met up with last night are holidaying in the Broads area - one of them is a regular on the food forum I'm a member of, and this was the first time we'd met in reality, but he was just as I've always imagined him to be. As we left the pub to return to our car car It was a beautiful evening, and we walked back along the river bank the moon was lighting up the marshes and the silvery clouds were reflected in the surface of the water - we live in such a beautiful part of the world

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning Hosta it's not too bad thanks, as long as I don't try to use my arm to do anything above shoulder level or move my upper arm away from my body.
It was so interesting meeting M night - he's in his early 70s but has been a widower a long time as his wife died after a long illness when their children were young. He nursed her, then brought the family up on his own, holding down a good job as well. Now he and his daughter train working collies and he sings in a male voice choir and takes long walks in the countryside with his dogs. A very interesting chap - he doesn't like gardening tho', but I suppose it takes all sorts

Nice when you meet someone you've "known" online and they turn out as nice as you'd hoped.
We once met someone who seemed really nice and then we met and he had a combover, a zip up acrylic cardy and an old , what looked liked school , blazer with railway badges on the lapel. He was only about 40 but looked 65.
Hello I'm back from working in London yesterday - far too hot on the Tube and I think it'll be worse today so glad to have swerved that. Still got rellies staying but I think they'll be off today. Need to get some windfall apple jelly made before it turns to cider. Although now I come to think about it.....
Anyone want a cuppa? The kettles just boiling

Hot and sunny already here. Fresh coffee brewing for me and OH is taking the dogs out before they bake.
I have to water the bits of garden M-C and I will work on this afternoon. Plant sorting to do and re-planting of stuff I moved so I could deal with bindweed. Going to be hot stuff.
