I made some of my old windies into a cold frame many years ago. They were olde stylee wood double glazing and weighed a ton. As I couldn't attach hinges there was a deal of oomphing and grunting to stop them squashing the plants or squashing me but they worked a treat.
Does anyone know what I've done with my watch - the everyday one? I thought I'd put it on the bathroom windowsill before my shower, but it's not there now
