    Just took youngest to work LP - b****y awful! image

    Hosta  - lovely to have those young 'uns visiting. I'm 'well jell' as these awful people say these days image

    I got two windows from someone who was having theirs replaced. Haven't quite got round to that cold frame yet...image

    You can have an extra bun then GWRS! 

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    LP, I wish I'd kept the others. We've already had 3 pairs of French Windows removed and sundried other sizes.

  • I made some of my old windies into a cold frame many years ago. They were olde stylee wood double glazing and weighed a ton. As I couldn't attach hinges there was a deal of oomphing and grunting to stop them squashing the plants or squashing me but they worked a treat. image

    it's just the double glazed units we're changing, not the whole windows,but I'm sure I can knock up some sort of frame round them.

    The ones I've got are the same Ppauper. Theyalso ahve a lot of screws sticking out - ready to catch a fairy wing unawares....image

    I'm sure you'll get summat sorted with them Hosta. Great resource - and saves them going to landfill image

  • Does anyone know what I've done with my watch - the everyday one?  I thought I'd put it on the bathroom windowsill before my shower, but it's not there now image
