The day is dawning with a clear blue sky ... again. We've had a little rain over night , but I don't think it was enough to turn the lawn green image

Hi Dove. Yes, I agree that your law could do with a bit of rain. We have that situation all the time here, so good luck with it.

  • Morning all, hi Pat!  image

Got some time to myself today as OH, and son (visiting from York), are on their way to a steam gala weekend (trains, I believe image) in north Wales.  They had an early start - it was sunny then, but the clouds are already rolling in.

You can have some of our rain, Pat... though it sounds as if you've had a reasonable dollop overnight. Do give us wallaroo updates please - I had to look it up on the Net, ignorant as I am.  image

Great to see you Runny.  Hope you get back soon - nobody makes jokes like yours!  image

Dove, Western Ireland seems to be the place to go if you want a green lawn all year.  Maybe more rain than you really want though!

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Hi Liri. Yes, I hope the ? Wallaroo keeps coming down past the house. I hope she is a Wallaroo. I can't imagine anything else because of her very dark colouring. Her back looks like a tortoishell cat! My neighbour said she should also have a white Pom Pom on her tail. Couldn't see well in the scrub where she was sitting. She knew I was at that window, hence didn't move for ages, and when I checked back a bit later, she was gone.image

Morning all/afties Pat. Glad you're getting your much needed rain. We're having far too much here for my liking - looks like I've picked the wrong week to have off . Curses!  image

Hopefully you'll get some 'wolly' pix at some point  image

Liri - perhaps they're visiting saunas not looking at trains....image

Good to see you RB - I missed your post as it was the same time as mine. Hope things are fine with you  image

Weather is now looking pants for tomorrow as well. What's a girl to do?  image
