Beans. Like beams but much less exciting!

Beams however I have many. All exposed and fortunately woodworm free.

Watching a very strange film I found on BBC iplayer. I'm rather thinking  there'll be odd dreams tonight!!

  • That might be because of the beans Clari image

I've drowned out the film with some documentaries on forensics. Nothing like a magot filled pigs head to cleanse the mind.

Dog is being a fussy devil and won't eat. He's happy to munch his snacks but when I offer him his meal he looks at me like I'm trying to poison him.

  • Love the chairback trellis Wonky, looks great.

Hehe, noticed you have a 'wonky'  tap too image

Hope you get things sorted with the Dr Pat, best wishes.

DD sounds like you've made some good friends. Hope things are getting better day by day. Hows the tea shop going x

  • Hi folks!

Just a quick look in to ask Pat if she has a carbon monoxide detector...  unexplained chest pains and feeling like death can be related to CO poisoning.  Better safe than sorry!

Am nursing a cough and throat here so will say goodnight.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Thanks all for positive thoughts. I'm just stubborn enough to make my own decisions when it comes to my health. Lilyp, I'm not allergic to wattle pollen but it is flowering everywhere at the moment. I've been breathless for several months. Liri, I don't have a carbon monoxide detector. Might try to find out where we can get one. That's a good suggestion, thanks.image

yesterday's interesting clouds didn't drop any wet stuff on us at home. Not unusual for us. We're in a "rain shadow". It can be raining on the east side of the valley and heavy cloud behind us on the west side hill, but no rain here!

Im seriously thinking about letting myself catch a bit more sleep, even though it's already nearly 9am. Should feel guilty, but I don't. Hubby must be on his computer - his side of the bed is a bit cold. Haven't heard any movement from that end of the house, but can smell coffee.image

Calliope is an aster Fairy - black stems, purple flowers and very tall - always looking for colour and height for the back of my borders.

Good morning chicky and those to come, hi Patimage

Chicky your weekend sounded lovely.  Any chance of seeing some pics?image

LilyP I wish I'd worn gloves for the dog walk yesterday.  I certainly will today.  Wonky the chair back trellis was inspiredimage.

Hope the throat is a bit better today Liri.  A few hot toddies may helpimage.  DD you sound as though you have made some good friends.  Very pleased for youimage.

Pat after seeing your wonderfully dramatic skyscape yesterday it's amazing that you didn't have rain but you've explained whyimage.  Stay positive and you'll soon be your normal self.  It will be interesting to see if the week without those tablets make a difference.

Clari, Reggie isn't the only fussy dog.  I knocked over the dog meat yesterday and Jekka wouldn't touch it.  Diva's don't eat off the floorimage.

    Have a good day allimage
